Like my off-beat brother-in-law BigTom. Or, maybe my sister – well, that’s what I call her, ‘Seester’.
Pour moi, I love cooking – don’t love eating so much – I love the intimacy of cooking, of the focused rotors of a new menu…..assessing and establishing the timeline, from reviewing the recipe. And particularly if one is preparing numerous dishes to be ready at the sam time. A little like 3D chess.
Even when I get home tired. . . . i become re-energised once I have a goal in the kitchen. Weird, I know.
And I love to experiment – not much afraid of much – I’ll taste it, figuring ‘How bad can it be? I can always spit it out. . . . . ‘
So – come, ride along with me. The greatest satisfaction I get is when I’ve prepared a meal, and then I figure out how to extend it to tomorrow, the next day – how to harvest and extract every bit of it into a lunch, another dinner – a soup….whatever.
